Justin Londergan

Partner, Retirement Plan Consulting

Justin leads Ardea’s Retirement Plan Consulting strategy. Justin's experience with institutional retirement plans centers around the implementation of fiduciary best practices that seek to minimize risk, reduce employer and employee costs and drive positive retirement outcomes. Justin has experience with 401(k) clients from start-ups to mid-size corporations, and 403(b) clients in higher education, independent schools, and other nonprofits.

In recognition of his work with Ardea’s clients, Justin was named 2025 PLANADVISER Retirement Plan Adviser of the Year, 403(b) Plan Service*. He assists clients with all aspects of fiduciary governance and has experience working with leading vendors in the 401(k) and 403(b) markets. He is an advocate for transparency, mitigating plan fees and streamlining the client experience. Justin also sits on the PLANADVISER Advisory Board**.

Prior to founding Ardea Fiduciary Advisors, Justin was a Vice President at Mayflower Advisors in Boston, MA. Before Mayflower, Justin was a retirement plan consultant at LPL Financial. Justin earned a B.A. from Hobart College.

Nominees are judged on a mixture of qualitative and quantitative measures, including tenure in the business; retirement plan business as a percentage of practice revenue; answers to essay questions; compliance records; and willingness to serve in a fiduciary role to clients’ plans. Finalists are interviewed by judges before a winner is selected. In 2025 there were 54 applicants and 28 finalists. No fee is charged to participate. Lowell Lyon

Partner, Wealth Management

Lowell Lyon brings over 15 years of experience advising individuals, families, and institutions on complex financial decisions. As Co-Founder of Ardea Fiduciary Advisors, he helped shape a more independent, client-first experience—one that prioritizes genuine relationships over one-size-fits-all advice and helps clients simplify complexity to make better long-term decisions with confidence.

Known for his attention to detail and problem-solving mindset, Lowell brings efficiency and a relatable, down-to-earth approach to his work. His commitment to client outcomes and innovation in the advisory space was recognized when he was named an InvestmentNews Rising Star in 2025*.

Prior to founding Ardea Fiduciary Advisors, Lowell was a Vice President at Mayflower Advisors in Boston. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Samantha Popino

Client Associate

Samantha specializes in back-office support and is dedicated to helping maintain streamlined and efficient operational processes. With experience in administrative and client service roles in the financial services industry, she is known for her reliability and commitment to excellent support. Samantha is currently available to assist with client requests and ongoing service needs.

Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time outdoors, taking her dog to the park, visiting farmers’ markets, and finding new ingredients to inspire her cooking.

Verity Boyer

Operations Associate

Verity supports daily operations including office management, billing, data and vendor management. She received her bachelor’s degree in Art History and Studio Art from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. She is attending Boston University to complete her MA in Preservation Studies with a concentration in American and New England Studies. When not in the office, Verity enjoys art history, historic preservation and painting. 

Liam Londergan

Operations Associate

Liam supports Ardea's operations including asset reporting, benchmark data and vendor engagement. He is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Finance at the University of Maine, Orono. In his free time, Liam enjoys weight lifting, coaching and refereeing youth football and basketball. 

Cosmo Gould

Chief Compliance Officer, Global Retirement Partners, LLC

Cosmo has over 10 years of financial services experience, including: Compliance, Investment Banking, Brokerage Operations, Options Trading, and Retirement Plan/ERISA. Prior to joining GRP, Cosmo was Chief Compliance Officer of Financial Telesis, a Broker Dealer and RIA with roughly 500 registered representatives and roughly $90 million in annual revenue. Cosmo was responsible for maintaining compliance with the rules and regulations of FINRA, the State, the Department of Labor, and the Securities and Exchange Commission for Financial Telesis Inc. and its employees. Before that, he was a Senior Examiner with FINRA, responsible for leading routine examinations of member firms’ sales, trading, underwriting, financial, supervisory, and organizational practices to determine compliance with SEC and FIRNA rules and regulations. Cosmo began his carrier as an Investment Advisor with Wells Fargo and has also worked as a Compliance Manager at Charles Schwab. 

Daren Alcantar

VP of Investment Strategy & Analytics, Global Retirement Partners, LLC

After spending seven years in the property and casualty insurance industry, Daren joined a registered investment advisor in 2008. At this firm he managed a team responsible for developing investment policies and the corresponding analysis for over three hundred qualified retirement plans. Using a variety of tools and third-party software such as Morningstar Direct and Zephyr Style Advisor, Daren ran in depth analysis and research on the investment vehicles that are offered in qualified retirement accounts. He has conducted extensive research in Asset Allocation, Portfolio Optimization and Modern Portfolio Theory. Daren has also developed relationships with many of the leading asset managers in the retirement industry. Daren also has a role in the development of Collective Investment Trusts and construction of provider lineups.
